I would also like to highlight to staff the importance of making sure that the content they create is accessible. In most cases this may involve making small changes such as using heading styles instead of selecting text and making it bold or adding alt text to images, tables and graphs (e.g. right click and select format picture and select alt text tab). These are small changes that can make a big difference to those who need to use assistive technology.

The Creating Accessible Content learning object has been updated to fix broken links. This learning object has checklists for Ms Word and Ms PowerPoint and other useful information relating to browers, Blackboard and mobile devices.
