TLE seminars- call for future contributions

Posted on

Abertay has run a very successful series of monthly Wednesday lunchtime seminars for the last two and a half years. They are extremely well attended (usually 50-70 people attend) and are open to all staff and student representatives in the University. This academic year alone we have seen the launch of our new HEA-accredited CPD scheme Going for Gold, National Student Survey (NSS), Inclusive teaching and, earlier this week, Problem-based learning. Our next seminar will take place on 3rd February, 12-2pm and is focused on Technology Enhanced Learning and we will also announce our latest ATLEF funding call. You can book a place at this event here.

The key point of this post is to re-iterate that the TLE seminars are your seminars. We want to ensure that the topics we cover and practice we showcase and discuss reflect your priorities and challenges. So, that that end we are currently looking for suggestions for the remaining seminars in March, April, Many and June. If you have an idea for a topic you would like us to cover, would like to present good practice, run a workshop, host a debate or have suggestions for an external speaker, we would love to hear from you!
